Spectroscopic Observations of Eight QSO Candidates among Markarian Objects

Eight of the ten objects suggested as possible QSOs in Markarian's fourth list of objects with ultraviolet continua have been observed spectroscopically; all eight are galactic stars, predominantly DA type white dwarfs.
