178 MHz Observations of Galactic Radio Sources

High resolution observations at 178 MHz have been used to investigate 45 radio sources in the region $|{b}^\text{II}|\,\lt\,{10}^{\circ}$, covering approximately the longitude range ${30}^{\circ}\,\lt{l}^\text{II}\,\lt\,{60}^{\circ}$. The flux densities and angular structures have been determined an...

Zusammenfassung:High resolution observations at 178 MHz have been used to investigate 45 radio sources in the region $|{b}^\text{II}|\,\lt\,{10}^{\circ}$, covering approximately the longitude range ${30}^{\circ}\,\lt{l}^\text{II}\,\lt\,{60}^{\circ}$. The flux densities and angular structures have been determined and, combined with other data, they indicate the nature of many of the sources. Most of the sources are galactic and many of those classified as supernova remnants had not previously been recognized as such.
