Zusammenfassung: | A spectrogram of high dispersion reveals very many unusually sharp absorption lines of ionized metals in the atmosphere of the B9 star HD 1909. Since it is a fairly typical example of a manganese star, the line strengths have been analysed differentially with respect to those for the star 53 Tauri. HD 1909 is substantially richer in iron, gallium, yttrium and zirconium but weaker in helium and chromium than 53 Tauri. A strong line at λ3984 is attributed to ionized mercury, but no lines of phosphorus or rare-earth elements are seen. |
