Optical Interstellar Absorption Features

Radial velocities are presented for interstellar clouds detected in the spectra of 70 stars of early type in the southern Milky Way. Also included are equivalent widths for the H and K lines of Ca II, the band at λ4430, the D lines of Na I, and for a few reddened stars, also the diffuse bands in the red region. The observations were secured with a coude spectrograph having dispersions of 150 and 100 microns per angstrom in the violet and yellow respectively.
