The Radio Spectra of Sources in the Fourth Cambridge Catalogue, II

Using observations at 38, 178, 610.5 and 1417 Mc/s the radio spectra of sources in the declination range 40°–44° of the 4C catalogue have been determined. Comparing the spectral indices of sources in lists compiled at 38, 178 and 610.5 Mc/s, it is seen how the mean spectral index of a list of source...

Zusammenfassung:Using observations at 38, 178, 610.5 and 1417 Mc/s the radio spectra of sources in the declination range 40°–44° of the 4C catalogue have been determined. Comparing the spectral indices of sources in lists compiled at 38, 178 and 610.5 Mc/s, it is seen how the mean spectral index of a list of sources selected according to flux density at a given frequency is a function of that frequency.
