Zusammenfassung: | In 1977, median income of members of the Society of American Foresters was $20,500, up from $15,000 in 1972 and $17,000 in 1974. Measured against the Consumer Price Index, the increases did not keep pace with inflation. A positive relationship between level of education and income continued for 1977. While federal employees retained the most favorable financial career ladders, private industry was a close second. State employment continued to rank third. Overall median starting salary increased from $8,990 in 1974 to $11,400 in 1977. |
