Zusammenfassung:Several acaricides were tested for efficacy against citrus bud mite in a lemon grove near Irvine, California. Treatments were applied on May 6 by handgun (450 psi) with about 1350 gal per acre; four two-tree replicates per treatment. At one end of this plot four materials were applied with low volume equipment at 100 gal per acre; four four-tree replicates per treatment. Five buds on each of four terminals were dissected for each replicate, and the percent buds infested was calculated. Pretreatment infestation levels averaged close to 40% in each treatment.
