Zusammenfassung: | In a field test at Jackson, Tennessee, 5 systemic insecticides were tested in 15 treatments to determine the effectiveness of aphid control on development and severity of barley yellow dwarf. Seedling date was September 30'75. Four replications of each treatment were made using a randomized complete block design. Each plot consisted of 5, 20 ft rows 7.5 inches apart wifh 2 ft between plots. Insecticides were applied either as a single treatment at planting time (AP), as a split-treatment (SP) one lb at planting and one lb 30 days later, or as a single treatment at emergence (AE). |
