Zusammenfassung:Abstract Introduction Little is known regarding the aetiology or outcome of atrial fibrillation (AF) occurring in young adults. This retrospective analysis was performed to explore the demographics and efficacy of AF ablation in this population. Methods Patients were included who had undergone ≥1 AF ablation under the age of 40 between 2006-2018. Recurrence was defined as return of either documented AF or previous symptoms for >30s following a 3-month blanking period.
