OBJECTIVES
This retrospective study aimed to clarify the incidence, determinants and clinical impact of left ventricular (LV) function non-recovery after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) in patients with ischaemic cardiomyopathy.
METHODS
A total of 490 patients with ischaemic cardiomyopathy (LV ejection fraction ≤ 40%) undergoing CABG were analysed. Follow-up echocardiography was performed at 1 month, 1 year, and annually thereafter. LV function recovery was defined as ejection fraction (EF) ≥40% at least once during follow-up. LV function non-recovery was defined as EF |
