Zusammenfassung:Abstract Background Intestinal ultrasound (IUS) has emerged as an important monitoring tool in the clinical course of ulcerative colitis (UC). Previously known factors about UC have been considered in terms of the associations with IUS. However, a few studies reported about the associations between the findings of IUS and clinical factors. Methods We performed a multi-center, cross-sectional study of patients with UC who received IUS and clinical exams including endoscopy simultaneously. The primary endpoint was the association between endoscopic disease activity as Mayo endoscopic score (MES) and IUS finding as Milan ultrasound criteria (MUC).
