Zusammenfassung: | This solubility study of testosterone by GLC is part of our overall research to advance new knowledge on the physical properties of hormonal steroids. GC is used to quantitate and also to evaluate the attractive and repulsive forces that influence the solubility of testosterone. This data is of immediate interest in all phases of analysis and of value in testing the application of modern theories of solutions. Solubility was approached from supersaturation equilibrium at 0°, 15°, and 30°C ±0.01°C. Triplicate determinations, each of a different ratio of testosterone and pregnantriol (the internal standard), were measured for five different solvents at each temperature. |
