Zusammenfassung: | Olefinic mixtures derived from C11-C14 n-paraffins were derivatized with dimethyldisuifide and 5,5-dimethoxy 1,2,3,4-tetrachlorocyclopentadiene. The position of unsaturation and the geometry of 44 isomers were determined from the GC/GC-MS fragmentation studies. Good precision and accuracy in recovery experiments and excellent baseline separation of compounds were obtained. A comparison of the structures determined by the two methods of derivatization showed good agreement. |
