Zusammenfassung:	The chromatographic analysis of some racemic amides, ureas, and hydantoins prepared from amino acid esters on three commercially available chiral high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) columns is reported. Good separations are obtained, although no one column is universally applicable to the resolution of these compounds. The effect of temperature on the chromatographic separation is also reported.
