Zusammenfassung:An evaluation of XAD-7 as a stationary phase for HPLC is presented. Some differences between XAD-7 and XAD-2, as regards the relative affinity for binding aromatic non-polar compounds, compared to more polar organic molecules, are noted. Partial eluotroplc series for XAD-7, in both water and methanol mixtures, are reported, as are the rates of uptake and release of solvents from the resin during solvent changes.
