Zusammenfassung: | The present paper develops the study of Love-type wave transmission through compressive stressed orthotropic substrate welded on couple stress half-space with imperfect interface. Boundary conditions are use to establish the secular equation for imperfect/perfect and slippage interface. The outcomes of physical quantities viz. phase and group velocity; friction parameter, initial stress, and imperfect interface parameter have been remarkably observed graphically. Moreover, interface with perfect/slippage parameters (conditions) affects the frequency curves more in comparison to compressive stress because the imperfection of the interface gradually decreases the structural stiffness. The outcomes are significant for developing the composite structures using imperfect interfaces. |
