Zusammenfassung:Green solution combustion technique has been used to synthesize of Bi 0.95 Tb 0.5 3 + Li x OCl (x = 0.1-0.5 mol%) using Mimosa pudica as a fuel. The obtained powders were structurally characterized by powder x-ray diffraction (PXRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM). The peaks of nanophosphor showed matlockite-type tetragonal structure having the space group P4/nmm (no. 129). Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images evidenced that the particles were rod like structures. The host matrix has shown a narrow green emission when excited with 374 nm, which has its maximum intensity centered at 544 nm due to 5D4 → 7F5. Emission spectra have been used to calculate Judd-Ofelt intensity parameters ( 2 and 4) and other radiative properties. The calculated values of the commission international de l'éclairage (CIE) co-ordinates were closed to national television system committee standard (NTSC) values of green emission.
