Little of the /sup 3/H can be attributed to solar-wind implantation. The upper limit for the /sup 3/H//sup 4/He ratio in the solar wind is 4 x 10/sup -10/ and corresponds to a /sup 3/H//sup 1/H limit of 2 x 10/sup -11/. This limit imposes a requirement on the mixing rate in the solar atmosphere if the /sup 3/H production rate in solar-surface nuclear reactions is greater than 160 cm/sup -2/s/sup -1/. (AIP) |
