AN ALIGNMENT TECHNIQUE FOR RITCHEY-CHRÉTIEN TELESCOPES

A technique that has been used with success to align the new 40-inch Ritchey-Chrétien reflectors at the Yerkes Observatory and the Ritter Observatory at the University of Toledo is described.
