Zusammenfassung:Hybrid organic/inorganic composites were prepared from polystyrene as the organic phase and a zeolite or Vycor glass as the inorganic phase. The resulting materials were characterized using differential scanning calorimetry, Instron testing, scanning electron microscopy, and small-angle X-ray scattering. Correlations among these results were used to obtain insights into structure-property relationships for these types of materials.
