Zusammenfassung: | Dimension and tolerance specifications influence greatly the manufacturability of a part. However, initial design specifications usually reflect the functional point of view of dimensional specifications and result in a low manufacturability. To facilitate the required redesign process, a design rewriting system was proposed in an earlier paper to modify the shape of a design dimensional scheme. To complement the modification, to ensure the functionality of the design, and to reallocate tolerance values for the new derived dimensions, a constraint generation methodology is proposed here. |
