Zusammenfassung:Tremendous progress has been made in recent years on developing statistical methods for mapping quantitative trait loci (QTL) from crosses of inbred lines. Most of the recent research is focused on strategies for mapping multiple-QTL and associated model selection procedures and criterion. We review the progress of research in this area on one trait and multiple traits by maximum likelihood and Bayesian methods.
