Zusammenfassung:The preferred orientation relationships for A15 Nb 3 Al precipitates in an A2 Nb matrix have been calculated on the basis of anisotropic elasticity theory using the assumptions of coherence and homogeneous moduli. The calculated orientation relationships are in good agreement with most of those observed experimentally for binary and ternary Nb-Al(-X) alloys.
