2′,2′-Difluorodeoxycytidine Metabolism and Mechanism of Action In Human Leukemia Cells

The toxicity of 2′,2′-difluorodeoxycytidine is due to the inhibition of DNA synthesis by a nucleotide metabolite by either direct inhibition of the process of DNA synthesis and/or to inhibition of ribonucleotide reductase.
