Condition Is Not sufficient for uniqueness in the cauchy problem

We show, with a non-uniqueness example, that the condition of Nirenberg and Trevess cannot replace the principal normality in the hypotheses of the uniqueness theorem of Hörmander. We give also a compact uniqueness result modeled on a similar one due to Nirenberg.
