A Survey Of Data Processing Chargeback Practices

Data processing chargeback systems are commonly used methods for charging users with the costs oi computer services. Their use is currently increasing as more firms adopt the technique. This paper summarizes the results of a survey on data processing chargeback systems. Chargeback systems practices, advantages, and disadvantages are emphasized. Business experience with the success or failure of these systems is evaluated. The results are interpreted within the context of the current literature on data processing chargeback systems.
