ETUDE DE L'ACTION DU SOUFRE SUR LA TRIS(TERTIOBUTYL)PHENYLPHOSPHINE
Sterically protected tris(tertiarybutyl)phenylphosphine reacts with sulfur, giving rise to the corresponding sulphide which reacts further to produce bis[tris(tertiarybutyl)phenyl]trithiodiphosphinate. This last compound finally affords the first stable metadithiophosphonate.
