Zusammenfassung: | This article presents a new frequency band notch ultra-wideband antenna with compact dimensions. It is shown that with a modified ground plane, antenna dimensions can be reduced without affecting the antenna bandwidth. The overall size of the proposed antenna is 13 mm × 22 mm. Experimental and simulated results of the fabricated antenna are presented. The antenna impedance bandwidth covers the entire ultra-wideband bandwidth from 3.1 to 10.6 GHz except the wireless local area network band. The proposed antenna has an omni-directional radiation pattern over the desired bandwidth. Also, the antenna has a good performance in time domain. |
