Zusammenfassung: | A methodology to identify various types of risks associated with the implementation and use of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems is presented. It is based on a conventional Failure Mode and Effects Analysis methodology, which has been extended so as to assess risks due to drivers' errors (driver behaviour) and due to legal and organizational problems. For each type of system, the relevant failures are identified and the following indicators are rated by experts: severity, occurrence probability, detectability and recoverability. For each identified type of failure, the failure effect, cause, detection and recognition, and mitigation strategies are also defined. |
