), were prepared and characterized by elemental and thermogravimetric analyses, IR, electronic and EPR spectroscopy. In all of the prepared compounds the ligands act in a bidentate fashion through the nitrogen atoms of the thiazole rings. The electronic and EPR spectral data show that the complexes have a tetrahedral distorted structure, except for the [CuLCI
2
]
2
(L = 2,2′-bisacetamido-4,4′-bithiazole) complex. This dimeric complex presents two bridging chloride groups between the two non-equivalent Cu(II) ions. |
