Zusammenfassung:A nitrogen compound of mercury (1) was prepared by reaction of 1,10 phenanthroline with mercurous nitrate. The mass spectra of this resulting precipitate was made and its distinguished features have been discussed. The results of various investigations suggest that disproportionation of the Hg(I) state did not occur.
