Resumen Se describen los cambios citológicos del proceso meyótico en la Arthroderma benhamiae Ajello y Cheng. La unión nuclear se efectúa en la penúltima célula de un cayado típico y la sinapsis entre los cromosomas homólogos ocurre durante su periodo de contracción. El complemento haploide de cromosomas es de 4, según se revela durante los estadios de diacinesis y prometafase.
