Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:Gymnosporangium sabinae, the pear-juniper rust, occasionally infects Cupressus sempervirens in southern Europe; G. minus is a synonym. In the United States, Mexico, and Guatemala, G. cupressi is indistinguishable from the earlier-described Himalayan G. cunninghamianum, of which G. meridissimum and Roestelia guatemaliana are also synonyms. Gymnosporangium clavipes f. sp. cupressi in Mexico and Guatemala, and Uredo cupressicola in all three countries, also infect cypress. Gymnosporangium sabinae and G. clavipes are the first Gymnosporangium species reported to infect members of more than one genus of Cupressaceae.
