The N.M.R. spectrum of tropolone dissolved in nematic solvents. An exchanging spin system

N.M.R. spectra of tropolone dissolved in three different nematogens have been obtained and analysed. The experimental dipolar coupling constants have been compared with values calculated for different models for the internal motion present in the molecule.
