Zusammenfassung:This investigation is concerned with the determination of total polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in the ambient air of Delhi. Air sampling was done for a period of six months at five sampling stations. PAH was determined by the quinine sulphate method. A city average profile was obtained; seasonal variation of PAH concentration, as well as its correlation with total suspended particulates (TSP) and wind-velocity, were ascertained.
