Zusammenfassung: | Recently the controlled generation of fast optical pulse trains with a double-contacted MCRW laser due to passive Q-switching has been demonstrated (Honsberg 1984). The authors report experimental results on the influence of gain-section current I sub(g) and absorber-section current I sub(a) on the frequency rate of free-running pulsations; they also give details of the dependence of the locking range upon the synchronizing RF current i sub(a). |
