Electronic structure of a chain of oxygen vacancies on the (100) surface of perovskite family oxides

The electronic structure of a chain of oxygen vacancies on the (100) surface of the perovskite family oxides has been studied in terms of the Green functions method. It has been suggested that the correlation effects play an important role in the making of deep donor states in the forbidden gap.
