Zusammenfassung:A ceramic phase shifting device (used in phased array antenna systems) has been demonstrated using Ba 1-x Sr x TiO 3 (BSTO) ceramics. As a part of an effort to optimize the electronic device performance in the phase shifter, various dopants have been incorporated into BSTO. The effect of these additives on the Curie temperature, dielectric properties, tunability, hysteresis, and grain size has been investigated. The homogeneity of the doped materials has been verified using Curie-Weiss analysis. To further improve the electrical performance, some higher levels of doping has been attempted. A few of the results for these ceramic-ceramic composites will be presented.
