Zusammenfassung:Measurements of permittivity and tan δ in poled SBN are obtained as functions of frequency. Their effects on pyroelectric detection are calculated and analyzed. For the frequency range in which the thermal noise caused by the dielectric losses of the material is the principal noise source, the variation of tan δ with frequency has an obvious effect on the pyroelectric detection.
