Zusammenfassung:	The determination of theophylline in pharmaceuticals containing compounds which provides spectral interferences on the analysis of theophylline by UV spectroscopy is carried out. The proposed procedure is based on the apparent content curves in order to resolve binary and ternary mixtures and the results obtained are in agreement with the contents of theophylline obtained by the reference method in all cases.
