Spectropolarimetric Assay of Codeine Tablets and Cocaine Hydrochloride

A rapid, simple and specific procedure for the simultaneous assay and determination of enantiomeric purity of pharmaceutical grade cocaine hydrochloride and codeine tablets is described. The procedure is as accurate, faster and more specific than the U. S. P. or N. F. methods.
