Zusammenfassung:By RNA· DNA hybridization, as well as chemical and chromatographic analysis, evidence is provided that the bacteriophage T5 codes for the synthesis of two isoacceptor methionine transfer RNA species, tRNAMetand tRNAf Met. Because of the differences in chromatographic properties of T5 phage and host methionine tRNAs, the phage tRNA species are readily distinguishable.
