The Appearance of Dicarboximide Resistance in Alternaria Alternata in Passionfruit in South-East Queensland
Isolates of A. alternata tolerant of (EC50 = 290) and sensitive to (EC50 less than or equal to 2) iprodione were recovered from lesions on passion fruit. Cross resistance to procymidone and vinclozolin was demonstrated. The tolerant isolates remained stable after 5 transfers in the absence of the fu...

Zusammenfassung: | Isolates of A. alternata tolerant of (EC50 = 290) and sensitive to (EC50 less than or equal to 2) iprodione were recovered from lesions on passion fruit. Cross resistance to procymidone and vinclozolin was demonstrated. The tolerant isolates remained stable after 5 transfers in the absence of the fungicide and behaved similarly to the iprodione-sensitive isolates when tested against mancozeb and copper sulphate. Both iprodione-tolerant and iprodione-sensitive isolates were pathogenic to detatched fruit. Australasian Plant Pathology 17(2) 34 - 36 Full text doi:10.1071/APP9880034 © CSIRO 1988 |
