Zusammenfassung:An analysis is made of transient parametric up-conversion in a randomly inhomogeneous medium. The diffusion approximation is used to obtain an exact closed equation for the average intensity of the wave generated by such conversion. It is shown that over sufficiently long paths the correlation properties are transferred from a noncoherent signal wave to the resultant high-frequency wave.
