Zusammenfassung:A technique for solving a certain class of partial differential equations is used to obtain exact solutions for particle dispersion in an unbounded Gaussian random flow field in which the mean flow is a simple shear and the turbulence is homogeneous and stationary. Results are compared with those of a simple random walk simulation and those obtained from tracking particles in a simple developing shear generated by LES.
