Zusammenfassung: | Research results on the specific heat of TlIn1−xCexS2 (0⩽x⩽0.04) crystals in the temperature range 4.2–300 K are presented. It is found that TlIn1−xCexS2 crystals have a second-order phase transition in the temperature interval 173.4–214 K, and the sharpness of the specific-heat peaks decreases gradually as cerium is substituted for indium in TlInS2. |
