Zusammenfassung: | Available data for vapor pressures and for the orthobaric densities of methanol are examined and formulated. Then, PρT data are correlated by an equation of state (EOS) which is constrained to the given coexistence boundary. Via ideal gas state specific heats, the thermodynamic properties of methanol then are obtained by numerical integrations of the EOS, and are tabulated along isobars. A comparison is made with some recent calorimetric enthalpy differences data over a wide range of the EOS surface. |
