Laser spectroscopy of organometallic free radicals

A large number of novel organometallic radicals have been observed by laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy. These species were produced by the gas phase reaction of calcium and strontium with various aldehydes, ketones, alcohols, and carboxylic acids.
