Zusammenfassung: | Experimental thermal conductivity data generated by Saxena and co-workers for neon (400–2600 K), argon (400–2500 K), and krypton (400–2500 K) are employed in conjunction with some recently proposed interatomic potential functions to assess their relative appropriateness. The ESMSV III for neon, the ESBFW for argon, and the corresponding states BP for krypton best describe these thermal conductivity data. The 11-6-8 is found to be a good correlating potential in each case except krypton above 2000 K. This information together with the kinetic theory is used to predict viscosity and diffusion coefficients. |
