Zusammenfassung:We present a study of vortex formation in interface biased nano-sized disk and square nanoelements of Fe and Py TM . For small lateral dimensions, the circular nanoelements have smaller vortex core diameter than square nanoelements with equal top surface area. For surface area ranging from 1900 nm 2 to 6700     nm 2 , the vortex core diameter of 30nm thick Fe ( Py TM ) nanoelements varies from 32nm (36nm) to 36nm (48nm). Interface effects are stronger for Py TM nanoelements.
